Communication Arts is an area of academic discipline that develops fluency and facility in English and Filipino languages among students, in both oral and written communication.

It comprises the subjects Mother Tongue for Grades 1-3 and, Reading and Speech, Language and Spelling, Filipino and English from Kindergarten to High School.

The Communication Arts focuses on the acquisition and master of the five macro skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing and viewing and media literacy. In view of this, the CRMSD program in English and Filipino is made enhanced for the Dominican learners to become abreast with the evolving language, for its eventual use in the emerging global community. The ultimate goal of which is the formation of Dominican gradutes who are competent language users embodying love and respect for country, pride for cultural heritage, concern for nature and the environment and ardent devotion to the Mother of Christ.

CRMSD English K12 Curriculum

The goal of the English program is to develop lifelong learners and communicatively comptenet global Dominican Communicators who are proud of their heritage. It aims to help learners acquire highly-developed skills that will enable them to understand that English language is the most widely used medium of communication in business, trade and diplomacy. Furthermore, the curriculum aims to help learners understand that English language is a dynamic social process which responds to and reflects changing social conditions, and that English is inextricably involved with values, beliefs and ways of thinking about ourselves and the world we dwell.
